How to do breathing exercise using the Air-Eze Incentive Spirometer?

• Hold the spirometer straight up in front of you or place it on a leveled table
• Start by exhaling completely
• Tightly enclose the mouthpiece with your lips
• Take a slow, deep breath through your mouth. As you take a slow, deep breath, the sliding piston will start rising.
• After inhaling completely, remove the mouthpiece from your mouth
• Hold your breath for three to five seconds before slowly exhaling
• Allow the piston to return to its original position after a few breaths of normal breathing
• Repeat the same ten times. Reduce your breathing if you start to feel dizzy
• Cough after exercising if felt like coughing to get rid of built-up secretions
